Born on May 28, 2026
Introducing our Summer Fruits litter of 2026! This is an all-dark golden litter of eight boys and two girls born to our female Kyra and a local Knoxville area stud called Beau. Both of these dogs hold AKC Family Dog titles and have fantastic temperaments. My goal with this litter is to combine that classic Golden temperament with Kyra’s type and Beau’s excellent health pedigree and field lines. We intend to keep one of the females in this litter and train her for field tests and other sports to bring some of those sporting and gundog titles back to the front of the pedigree and to continue building on a line for versatility, structure, temperament, and health.
This litter is currently reserved in full. They are due to go to their new homes at the end of July. Our next litter will not be planned until after our keeper girl completes health testing in mid 2028.
What’s Next?
After our Summer 2026 litter, we will be taking a break from breeding as our keep girl completes her OFA testing and training and begins earning titles. Some goals I have for this puppy include earning field test titles and a Working Certificate (WC), attending a CCA event to see how she compares to the breed standard and where she could be improved on, and to have fun trying other AKC sports like Fetch and Dock Diving and Obedience. My next litter, assuming she passes her testing and turns out how I hope, will between this keeper girl and a field bred/titled stud who complements her structure-wise. Temperament and health will remain top priority in my program, but I strive to always improve and move closer to the standard in structure and purpose in each generation.
Beau Grant CGCU
Beau is a blocky dark golden stud from the Knoxville area. His pedigree, beginning in the fourth generation, includes titled hunting dogs, dock diving dogs, therapy dogs, field dog hall of fame-rs, fetch titles, obedience titles, and other family dog titles. Beau’s pedigree also includes an impressive number of Excellent OFA hip results, something I was very excited to bring into my future lines. Beau has an amazing family dog temperament and loves people of all ages.
Origins Good Day Sunshine FITS
Our OG mama, Kyra – a dark golden sweetheart of moderate size and classic type. Kyra’s pedigree is primarily companion dogs in the immediate generations. It’s not until her 7th and 8th generation ancestors that we see titles – the dogs that show up in these generations are primarily conformation titled, such as Am. CH Faera’s Playin’ For Keeps OS. Kyra will be retired after this 2026 litter.

Bring Home An Origins Puppy
Our waitlist for 2026 is CLOSED. Pricing for all future puppies as of 2026 is $1800, regardless of gender or shade. This includes a non-refundable deposit of $200, due upon birth of the litter and spot confirmation.
We offer limited registration only, except to approved breeding programs who adhere to the GRCA code of ethics, including full health testing of their breeding dogs. What does “limited registration” mean for the owner? This does not mean co-ownership. It simply means that your puppy does not have breeding rights, and therefore puppies produced could not be registered with the AKC. Full AKC rights will be available to owners who complete health testing to CHIC, or who are actively showing or competing.
Deposits will not be collected until the puppies are born and we have an official count of males and females available.
